What is CBD?

CBD (short for cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant. CBD does not cause intoxication or a “high.” Many people use CBD as part of a daily wellness routine, but it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent
any disease.

Will CBD get me high?

No. CBD is not intoxicating. THC is the compound most associated with the “high” from marijuana. Hemp-derived products must contain less than 0.3% THC by dry weight.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

CBD and THC are both cannabinoids found in cannabis, but they affect the body differently. CBD is not intoxicating, while THC can be. Hemp-derived products contain only trace THC (under 0.3% by dry weight).

Is CBD legal?

Hemp-derived CBD products containing less than 0.3% THC are legal federally in the United States. Our entire product line is legal to purchase and ship anywhere within the United States.

Choosing the Right Product

What types of CBD products are best for me?

It depends on your routine. Gummies are the simplest option with consistent servings. Oils (tinctures) are best if you want flexible serving sizes. Topicals are applied where you want targeted support. Pet tinctures are formulated for easy use and pet-friendly flavors.

What is the difference between CBD oil and hemp oil?

CBD oil (often called a tincture) contains CBD extracted from hemp. Hemp seed oil is made from hemp seeds and is commonly used for cooking or skincare, but it contains little to no CBD. If you want CBD, look for “CBD” clearly listed on the label.

What does full spectrum CBD mean?

Full spectrum products include CBD plus other naturally occurring compounds from the hemp plant, including trace amounts of THC (under 0.3% by dry weight). Some customers prefer full spectrum as part of a broader hemp profile. If you prefer no THC, choose THC-free options where available.

What is the difference between THC-free and full spectrum?

Our THC free products contain 0.0% THC - we ensure this by manufacturing them with isolated CBD. Our “full spectrum” products are manufactured with CBD distillate which contains a small percentage of all cannabinoids in addition to a high percentage of CBD.

Serving Size and How to Use

How much should I take?

There is no single serving size that fits everyone. A common approach is to start low and increase gradually until you find what feels right for your routine. Use the label to understand how many milligrams are in a serving. If you have a medical condition or take prescription medications, consult a healthcare professional first.

How do I take CBD oil?

For faster absorption, place the oil under your tongue and hold it there for 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing. Oils can also be mixed into a smoothie or beverage if you prefer.

How much cream or lotion should I apply?

Apply a small amount to the desired area and massage in until absorbed. For higher-use areas, reapply as needed. Avoid contact with eyes.

Drug Testing and Safety

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Routine workplace drug tests typically look for THC, not CBD. Full spectrum products can contain trace THC and may increase the risk of a positive test, especially with frequent use. Our THC-free products will not test positive on a standard drug test.

Are side effects possible?

CBD is generally well tolerated, but side effects are possible, especially at higher servings. Possible side effects can include tiredness, dry mouth, appetite changes, or dizziness. Consult your doctor before use, especially if you take prescription medications.

Why does CBD work the way it does?

Researchers believe CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which plays a role in regulating processes like mood, stress response, sleep, and inflammation. Research is ongoing, and effects can vary by person.
